FaceWIN Extension

This Privacy Policy describes how the FaceWIN Extension browser extension ("the Extension") handles user data. By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. In short

The Extension does not collect, store or transmit users' personal data. All work is performed locally in your browser. The only data that is saved is your own settings (on/off, analytics URL), and it is stored only in your browser.

2. What data we DO NOT collect

• The Extension does not request or process personal data (name, e-mail, passwords, etc.).
• The Extension does not use analytics, trackers or advertising SDKs.
• The Extension does not transfer data to third parties and does not sell it.
• The Extension does not perform authentication and has no server infrastructure for storing user data.

3. What data is stored locally

The Extension saves only your settings in the browser's local storage (chrome.storage.sync):

• enabled — enabled - the state of the "on/off" toggle.
• baseUrl — baseUrl - the base URL of the analytics page (default https://facewin.ru/match).

This data is synced only between your devices via your Google account and is not accessible to the developer.

4. Access to sites and permissions

The Extension only works on the faceit.com website and requests the following permissions:

• webNavigation — webNavigation - to track navigation within the faceit.com website and detect the moment of entering a match room (lobby).
• tabs — tabs - to open a new tab with the analytics page and read the URL of the current active tab.
• storage — storage - to save your settings (on/off, analytics URL).
• host_permissions (faceit.com) — host_permissions (faceit.com) - restricts the Extension's operation to the FACEIT website only.

The Extension reads the URL only on the faceit.com website with the sole purpose of detecting that you have entered a match room and extracting the match identifier. The URL is not saved or transmitted.

5. Opening an external page

When entering a match room, the Extension automatically opens a new tab with an address like https://facewin.ru/match?id={match_identifier}. The match identifier is passed to the facewin.ru website as part of the URL. The privacy policy of the facewin.ru website is governed separately - see the FaceWIN Site Privacy Policy.

6. Data transfer to third parties

The Extension does not transfer user data to third parties. The only external transfer is opening the analytics page on facewin.ru with the match identifier (see section 5).

7. Security

Since the Extension does not collect or store personal data on servers, the risk of leakage is minimal. All settings are stored locally in your browser managed by Chrome.

8. Children

The Extension is not intended for use by children under 13 and does not collect children's data.

9. Changes to the policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page. The last updated date is shown at the top.
